We will have a special Camp Bountiful Association (CBA) Meeting on Sunday, July 1, 2007, at 2:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to revise the bylaws of the CBA.

Our current bylaws require the annual CBA meeting to be held between August 15 and September 15 each year. We've been having the meetings toward the end of August, as this gives us the chance to better plan a budget for the following year to present to the CBA. However, while the budget planning is better, nearly everyone, including the Board, dislikes having the meeting so late. So, our primary purpose for this meeting is to revise the timing of the CBA meeting in the bylaws. We may propose a few other slight revisions in the bylaws, as well, but you will be notified in advance if this happens.

We are going to treat the weekend of June 30-July 1 as Camp Bountiful weekend. That means free camping for those wanting to attend the weekend, a worship service on Sunday morning with President Steve Veazey preaching, free lunch and the meeting in the afternoon. If the bylaw changes are approved in the CBA meeting, we will declare them to be in effect immediately and then proceed with the rest of the normal CBA agenda.

Since this is also Reunion, those wanting free camping will need to check in with the registrar prior to reunion to see what sleeping accommodations are available. For those already registered for reunion, nothing else is needed.
